Hi,
I've been informed of your new file sharing software.
I'm curious about it, but I'd like to have some information on how it works before I start using it.
How are the connections made? I've seen on an earlier post that torrents weren't used. Do I connect to a server, or directly to other PCs? If so, how is it different from earlier peer-to-peer software like Kazaa?
Are the connections secure? If so, how do you make sure it is?
If connections are made peer-to-peer, I suppose the download speed will be greatly affected on both sides by the slowest connection?
Anyways, I understand that this thing is brand new, but I'd appreciate if these questions could be answered.
Thank you,
-Fred

Why another p2p network? There are (or were, considering torrents) emule, serverless dc (dht).
What benefits it gives? For now it seems not secure, not prone to be any popular in future.
