Title says all, is it safe to use fopnu to browse/share without using a VPN, exposing your own IP address?
Assuming you do have a firewall or something, is there any risk of DDoS or anything bad happening?

I would say yes but there's no clear answer. It depends how your country or ISP responds to DMCA. Getting a DMCA notice is definitely more of a concern if you are using BitTorrent because it's more popular. I seriously doubt you will get a DMCA notice for using Fopnu. Fopnu does not attempt to hide your IP so if you really are concerned than you should use a VPN or proxy but if you don't, you will probably be fine.
