I suppose only the devteam would know this...

The search results stop at ~1000. I am ASSuming that limit is preset to prevent potential flood of fake file results that might be generated by some bot-like client, to disrupt meaningful, reliable searches.

What happens at that point? Does fopnu merely stop posting incoming results after 1000? Will not results keep dribbling in?

Then, at that point the "Search" button changes to "Search More".

What does that do? Does it send out the search request again? Does it go to different users so that it gets different, additional results? Or does it simply allow receiving more results?
