'open location' causes client to crash with no crash report, its as if the program was sent the kill command.. os is linux mint...

Where are you doing the 'open location' from? Your downloads? Your uploads? Does it matter? I am not having this happen to me and I use Fedora Linux. Does it happen with all types of files and folders?

'open location' in the transfers panel... and for some reason its not doing it anymore now that i make this post.. ...of course... oh this is going to be fun to debug...

but was it happening for your downloads, uploads or both?

Thanks for reporting this. I noticed you said that you are not getting a crash report, but if this happens to you again or to anyone else, and you get a crash report, please send it in. The Dev is looking into this.
