When I Browse a user then try to do a search, the selected file types are Audio and Video only.
I can't find any configuration settings for this to set the default for all file types.
Do such settings exist? If so, where?

Right click any/all of those buttons (Audio, Video, Images...). You will see choices Default On, Default Off and Remember Last. Set each button to the default you want.
